About Us

Agape Wellbeing is a registered charitable organisation dedicated to helping the local community, from the very young to our older people, achieve positive wellbeing, through a variety of health and wellbeing services and activities.

What We Offer

We offer a flexible approach to promoting positive wellbeing as we understand that lots of factors can get in the way of committing to a fixed programme. This is why we have set up a lot of our activities to allow people to opt in when they are able, allowing people the freedom to join in when time, health and other commitments allow. We have a range of activities for all ages to enjoy with many activities being able to be carried out either within a group setting to allow you to meet others, or by offering a quiet area where people can use if they would rather work on their own. For a list and description of activities on offer, please follow the links from our homepage.

All our services and activities are easy to access – just telephone, email or pop into the centre to speak to us about your requirements. If you are not sure of what you would like to do, then you’re welcome to pop in for a tea and a chat and we will be happy to discuss this with you. Building trusting relationships is very important to us and all information given to us will be held in the strictest confidence.

The majority of our activities are offered free of charge, but when charges are made, we do offer some funded places to help people when finance is difficult.

We want our services to be accessible to everyone.  We keep the costs low with most of services FREE or with a suggested small donation.

Volunteers

At the Agape Centre, we love our volunteers and we couldn’t function without them. All our services are run by volunteers passionate about the work being carried out here at the centre. Volunteers come and share their skills and experience with us as well as gaining new skills, meeting new people, or just give back to their community. For others it has been a route back to employment. If you would like to join us, see the Volunteer tab for more information and current vacancies available and to hear what our volunteers really think.
