We work alongside Remploy offering work placements to their participants. We have found that this not only gives those who have been on placement with us experience, but also benefits to Agape as the skills of those we have had on placement so far have been just what we needed.
We would like to thank the staff and students of Calderglen High School for their enthusiastic volunteering and support over the academic year. Their contribution is invaluable to work. All students who volunteer with us have access to Saltire Awards, which allows them to gain recognition for the work they do with us.
Agape Wellbeing offers access to Saltire Awards for any volunteer between the ages of 12-25years, they can progress through the various stages to gain awards and recognition for the volunteer hours they put in. This is great for C.V.s to show their commitment and work ethic.
We have been lucky enough to be able to deliver a 5-week Mindfulness course with a group of their young people who went on to work placements in various different organisation. We also provide work placements for those on Skills Exchange courses to provide them with experience and support in the areas of our shop, stockroom and Wellbeing Centre.
CAP are able to issue our clothing vouchers to those they are working with in East Kilbride. This helps us to ensure our vouchers are helping those who need it most. We also work together to provide budgeting courses to those who attend our services.

Cattanach is a private charitable funder for early years work in Scotland. We welcome proposals for work that supports children and their families from pre-birth to three years old, who are affected by levels of relative deprivation.
We are delighted to have received funding from Schuh to help us continue the work we offer in our community.
By working together with the Health Improvement Team we receive input on subjects such as oral health and nutrition. This ensure that those attending our services receive up to date information that allows them to make choices in their lives about their own health and wellbeing.
We have been able to purchase IT Equipment, which will be loaned out to those in our community who do not currently have online access. This will help them to stay connected to family and friends during the difficult times of Covid-19.
