VASLAN offer invaluable support to third sector organisations across South Lanarkshire. VASLAN offers access to expertise as well as networking and funding opportunities.

Remploy Scotland

We work alongside Remploy offering work placements to their participants. We have found that this not only gives those who have been on placement with us experience, but also benefits to Agape as the skills of those we have had on placement so far have been just what we needed.

Corra Foundation

The Corra Foundation are on a mission to make a difference with people and communities, by encouraging positive change, opportunities, fairness and growth of aspirations, which improve quality of life. We are grateful to have received grants from the Corra Foundation.

Calderglen High School

We would like to thank the staff and students of Calderglen High School for their enthusiastic volunteering and support over the academic year. Their contribution is invaluable to work. All students who volunteer with us have access to Saltire Awards, which allows them to gain recognition for the work they do with us.

Saltire Awards

Agape Wellbeing offers access to Saltire Awards for any volunteer between the ages of 12-25 years, they can progress through the various stages to gain awards and recognition for the volunteer hours they put in. This is great for C.V.s to show their commitment and work ethic.

Skills Exchange Scotland

Skills Exchange SCIO is an employment and education charity, taking action to transform lives throughout South Lanarkshire.

Agape Wellbeing has worked with Skills Exchange to provide work placements for people on their courses.

Christians Against Poverty

Christians Against Poverty has been providing free professional debt help through local churches across the UK since 1996. 

We have worked together to provide budgeting courses to those who attend our services.

National Lottery Community Fund

Scottish Association for Mental Health

“Standing up for Scotland’s Mental Health”
Working alongside SAMH they have run workshops in our Wellbeing Centre based on their Let’s Talk programme covering subjects such as anxiety & stress. We look forward being able to provide more workshops in the future.

NHS Lanarkshire

By working together with the Health Improvement Team we receive input on subjects such as oral health and nutrition. This ensure that those attending our services receive up to date information that allows them to make choices in their lives about their own health and wellbeing.

South Lanarkshire Renewable Energy Fund

We have been able to purchase IT Equipment, which will be loaned out to those in our community who do not currently have online access. This will help them to stay connected to family and friends.

Volunteer Friendly Award

Volunteer Friendly Award is a quality standard designed by Volunteer Dundee to support, recognise and reward groups who are good at involving volunteers. Agape was awarded our certificate in June 2020.

The Good Coffee Cartel

In 2024 we started partnering with the Good Coffee Cartel to create our own Agape Edition Coffee. Every coffee jar ordered supports the charity.
