About our shop

Our shop is located in East Kilbride town centre, adjacent to the bus station, and is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am-4:30pm. We stock everything you need from clothing to prams and cots, and books and toys for babies and children up to 8 years of age. Our main aim is to offer high quality new and pre-loved children’s goods at affordable prices.

What We Stock

We stock all kinds of pre-loved items for babies and children up to age 8 years  from clothes to toys to equipment and small nursery furniture. Our larger items are available to buy online, but if you do not see what you are looking for, please ask as we are receiving new stock all the time. Everything we sell is quality and safety checked by our trained members of staff in order to ensure we only offer items which give you peace of mind. Anything which doesn’t meet these standards is recycled so absolutely nothing goes to waste.

As part of our work here, we work with other like-minded agencies to support families in need who don’t have funds available and are in urgent need of these items. If you would like our assistance, please get in touch with us by coming to visit us in the shop or via the contact us page.

How can you support us?

We would like to encourage you to support your community by helping us to continue with this work by donating your baby and children’s clothing that your little ones have finished with. We also accept pre-school toys as well as Moses baskets, prams and buggies, nursery furniture, stair gates, jumperoos, activity centres, small electrical items like bottle warmers and baby monitors, and anything else that parents need for their little ones. As a general rule everything must be in usable condition except for clothes which we can recycle.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept broken items or items with pieces missing, mattresses and car seats due to health and safety and anything other than clothes and shoes for children over age 5. At present, all items require to be brought into Agape Kidz or can be dropped off at one of our collection bins either within the Village Centre in Maxwell Drive or at the Lifestyle Centre at the Murray Owen Centre in Liddell Grove (up to 3.30pm weekdays only). We do hope to offer a pick-up service in the near future for larger items or for people unable to bring items in themselves.
